Kusmi - St. Petersburg

Smell: so deliciously lovely!

Brew: 190 F for 4 mins. 

Taste: Nice, subtle, cozy. Little hint of bergamot, lightly sweet tasting, slightly caramel-y. Tastes like a gentle tea. Nice aftertaste. 

Overall: Lovely tea! It's very gentle, tastes like tea but a gentle tea. It's a very pleasant cup. The bergamot isn't in your face. 

4/5.

Kusmi - Prince Vladimir

Brew: 190F for 4 mins

Smell: citrusy, spice

Taste: spicy, but not overwhelmingly so. I do not taste citrus, though i smell it. Mostly tastes like a spiced black tea. But the spice is like a hint - spice done right in a black tea. Probably one of my favorite spiced teas!

Harney & Sons - Jeju Sejak

 Brewed: 175 F @ 3 minutes American style

Smell: Smells like a dragonwell! Sort of creamy, sort of butter-y, sort of roasty. There are so many different notes to smell and it changes with each whiff. Very complex vegetal smell. At the end of the cup I got a smoky smell.

Taste: Nutty is the first flavor. Slightly grassy with a small bite/astringency. It's smooth and buttery. Kind of a fruity after-taste. Very light. At the end of the cup I got a slightly smoky taste. 

Verdict: Upon first smell, it transports me to feeling cozy; feeling like I'm home. It's warm and comforting. I really, really enjoy this tea!

Buy again: YES!
